Hello, y’alls!

Since I’m new to this com. I thought I’d introduce myself. I also come bearing some offerings.

The Introduction:

I’m a nineteen year-old student from the US. My main interests are film, writing, dance, art, music, nature, archery, yoga, pilates, and green-living.

My short list of favourite “older” actors would be...
Liam Neeson—I was introduced to Mr. Neeson when I first saw the Star Wars prequels. Though he only had one film, his quiet, yet dynamic Qui-Gon Jinn captured my attention. That role began an appetite in me for more of him and his films. Many movies later, it has yet to fade. Recently, I started a lj community called Skill_n_Poetry that is dedicated to him and his work. (More members are always welcome!)
Viggo Mortensen—The first time I saw Mr. Mortensen was in Hidalgo, but it wasn’t until I saw him in ‘06, as Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings, that I decided I was a fan. Then I discovered that he’s also a talented painter, photographer, and poet, and I was truly hooked.
Sean Bean—Of those on this list, I’ve known of Mr. Bean the longest. His Farmer Grey in Black Beauty was one of my favourite characters, back when I got the movie on VHS as a tenth? eleventh? birthday gift. But as with Mr. Mortensen, Mr. Bean first caught my attention in The Lord of the Rings.

And some other actors I appreciate...
Sir Ian McKellen—The one and only Gandalf. Period.
Christopher Lee—Forget Count Duuko, Saruman alone would have put him on this list.
Sean Connery—King Arthur to Capt. Ramius, he has my approval.
Johnny Depp—He'll always be Capt. Jack, to me... and who can resist a pirate?
Harrison Ford—As Han Solo, the rouge of the Star Wars OT, he had my liking. As Capt. Alexei in K-19 The Widowmaker, he has my respect.

Great list!

For Sean Bean you ought to check out the "Sharpe's" series. It's British and he's in almost every scene.

I discovered those this year, and have watched every one I could find online. ;) Unfortunately, I can't check them out from our library, and our local Blockbuster doesn't have them either, so I've yet to see them all. *me cry* Oh well, someday I'll get enough money and just buy the lot! :p
